Seattle-based classic inventory and order management software firm- Cin7 has announced the acquisition of Orderhive and Dear Systems, leaders in SaaS provider of inventory and order management software. However, the financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed yet.
It has been speculated that the acquisition of DEAR Systems and Orderhive will extend Cin7’s ability to help product sellers with manufacturing, shipping, automation, and warehouse management. Under this pact, DEAR Systems is expected to bring in added manufacturing functionality and a simplified user interface, which are perfectly designed for small- and medium-sized businesses and manufacturers.
Meanwhile, Orderhive would undertake intrinsic measures to take e-commerce capabilities to all new heights in the years to come.
Speaking on the novel acquisition, Cin7 CEO- David Leach commented that the combination of the three products encompasses an assortment of product seller needs, immediately creating a relatively larger and one of the fastest-evolving companies with a massive global market opportunity.
He added that together, the companies would empower product sellers to accelerate and thrive its growth by continuing what the companies do the best, working side by side to deliver the best product to customers as per their daily needs.
On the other hand, Dr. Serguei Piltiaev, DEAR Systems Founder and CEO, cited that with the acquisition, the team is seeking to continue to innovate as part of Cin7, offering a robust and intuitive solution for SMBs and manufacturers. He mentioned that DEAR System’s success has been fueled by rapid product development and strong relationships with its partner network which enables it to thrive in the global market.
Speaking on the same lines, Orderhive’s Founder- Niraj Patel in a statement said that joining forces with Cin7 stands to be a latest milestone in Orderhive’s rapid growth story and the company views this as an opportunity to further bolster its growth in newer markets.
