Bosch Global Software Technologies to launch R&D center in Hyderabad

Bosch, a German multinational engineering and technology company, is planning to hire around 3,000 professionals in Hyderabad by 2025.

According to sources, BGSW (Bosch Global Software Technologies) is planning to set up an innovation and technology R&D center in Hyderabad.

The company is looking for freshers from the background of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, and Instrumentation

The announcement comes after BGSW plans to expand its presence in India in 2022. Headquartered in Bengaluru and having operations in Coimbatore, BGSW is the largest software and technology center outside Germany.

According to the firm, it has a sales and delivery network in several global locations like India, Mexico, Vietnam, Japan, North America and the Middle East. The company has significant global hub for software catering to partners and customers across industries and geographies.

Recently, Telangana Minister for Industries and IT, K.T. Rama Rao had a virtual meeting, following which the latter has tweeted that Bosch, the German MNC and a world leader in industrial engineering, mobility, and home appliances, has selected Hyderabad as a strategic location with its Bosch Global Software Technologies and R&D presence

According to Bosch, it seeks to utilize the thriving software ecosystem of Hyderabad for accessing world-class talent, building expertise and centers of excellence in new developing technologies and connecting with the local leadership for reinforcing its global delivery network.

CEO, President and MD of Bosch Global Software Technologies, Dattatri Salagame, said that the new Hyderabad center would have CoEs working on the application of electronics and computation for solving domain problems like autonomous driving, V2X [vehicle-to-anything] connectivity, vehicle computing, gateways, safety and electrification.

Also, there are similar opportunities in other sectors like healthcare, energy and more.
