TCS announces launch of new cloud enterprise agile tool, Jile 5.0

Indian IT conglomerate, TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) has reportedly launched its latest edition of on-the-cloud Enterprise Agile scheduling and delivery tool, Jile 5.0, that allows companies to address large-scale development needs across distributed teams.

With Jile 5.0, organizations can effectively align execution with strategy by providing a consistent view of portfolios and programmes. This will aid business stakeholders and teams in efficiently collaborating & reducing time to market for new software. Furthermore, using its Lean portfolio budgeting, Jile will assist stakeholders in making better investment decisions to meet specific organizational goals.

Reportedly, the tool is available in two variants, first being a standard edition designed for MSME and large businesses that are just beginning to scale agile processes across multiple teams. While the second is an enterprise edition that is a higher version for major organizations with established agile methods.

Apart from the features available in the standard edition, the enterprise edition allows teams to use customized dashboards to evaluate consumption as well as portfolio, programme, and team performance against budget allocation.
