Post its success in the Indian market with models like Sonet and Seltos, Kia Motors has recently announced expanding its sales network in relatively smaller towns and rural areas in an attempt to upscale its presence across the nation. The company is also currently laying focus on augmenting the effectiveness of its dealer partners in India.
As per credible sources, the automaker has received massive demand for models from all across the nation and therefore, it is planning to be present even in the outmost of locations. Besides, the company marked a debut in India with an intent of being accessible and available for the entire country. In line with this, Kia has also initiated measures to cater to the sales and aftersales requirements of the customers.
Speaking on the strategic initiative, Tae-Jin Park, Chief Sales Officer & Executive Director, Kia Motors, reportedly cited that the firm is looking forward to expanding its network and aiming to reach about 300 touchpoints by the end of 2020, while also laying emphasis on expansion in upcountry and tier-4 markets in the Indian economy.
In addition to these, Kia is also considering its dealer partner productivity, both of which would stand to be key elements for the company’s progression in the upcoming 2 to 3 years. He further added that customer feedback is an essential aspect for the company and their team is regularly connecting with potential and existing customers to understand their views on its current services and products to upgrade them as per their preferences and needs.
For the record, Kia Motors has set up dedicated training and skill enhancement centers to make sure that each and every company representative is highly equipped to cater to the burgeoning customer needs. The company runs such centers in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Faridabad.
