Kabira Mobility scales up KM3000 production at its Green Factory

Kabira Mobility, an electric mobility startup in India, has reportedly commenced manufacturing and delivery operations at its Green Factory located in Dharwad, Karnataka. The company has also started delivering its much-anticipated electric bikes (KM3000 and KM4000) nationwide from March 2022 via its dealer network.

As per sources, the manufacturing plant has a capacity that is scalable to produce around 40,000 units per month, serving as Kabira Mobility’s national manufacturing center serving the budding demand from the Indian Market.

This plant is said to be built in line with the long vision of Make in India, for having an 85% localization of supply chain for achieving a maximum production competence and meeting the production demands without Supply disruption fears.

Kabira Mobility holds a strong presence across major cities of South India, with plans to expand aggressively for covering Tier 01 North Indian cities by December 2022.

This manufacturing plant will create direct and indirect employment opportunities for more than 2,500 employees in the coming 3 years, which is said to be an excellent prospect for the engineers staying in the region.

For further improving the quality of products, Kabira Mobility is at present working in the process of setting up a completely automated battery pack assembly line for having an overall control in the process and quality of the battery packs, which would eventually advance the overall quality of the product.

Moreover, this extra-large factory is a carbon-neutral manufacturing facility with zero toxic discharge and air pollution and is motorized by Solar Energy.

Jaibir Siwach, CEO of Kabira Mobility, said that their mega factory is another significant step towards encouraging the mass adoption of electric mobility across the nation and is in line with the vision of making India an EV manufacturing hub by the year 2030.
