Accenture’s Droga5, a part of Accenture Interactive, has declared expanding its global footprint with the launch of its new office in Tokyo. Besides, the company also plans to open offices in China and Brazil in the next 12 months, in a bid to boost its offerings and capabilities.
As per credible reports, the expansion comes on the heels of Accenture Interactive’s prominence as the world’s largest digital agency network for sixth consecutive year.
Reports suggest that Droga5 Tokyo would potentially offer clients in APAC region and around the globe, access to its’ proficiency in creativity connected across the entire brand experience, paired with full capabilities of Accenture Interactive.
It has been speculated that Droga5 Tokyo would be led by a fusion of award-winning creative talents of Tokyo and long-serving Droga5 leaders. Masaya Asai is likely to lead the Tokyo office as its Chief Creative Officer, while Chris Burgess, who has recently served as Droga5’s lead for Allstate and Chase, will serve as a GM. Besides, Dan Ng will serve as the strategy head.
Commenting on the recent accomplishment, Group CE of Accenture Interactive, Brian Whipple cited that Droga5’s expansion stands out to be a notable investment for its clients, in its people and belief in the potential of the new disruptive agency model the firm has pioneered for years now.
Brian added that the company’s expansion into Japan, and later into China and Brazil, provides Accenture Interactive an even stronger platform in experience-led transformation worldwide.
On the other hand, CEO of Droga5 Tokyo, Masaya Asai exclaimed that Droga5 is expanding its global presence and it is quite exciting that first in the expansion line is Japan.
