A&R Logistics, one of North America’s leading providers of supply chain services, has made it to the headlines for taking over Luckey Trucking for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition pact is anticipated to empower A&R’s leading market position while simultaneously expanding its fleet of highly specialized trailers and tractors.
News reports suggest that key member of the Luckey family and the leadership team would remain with the Company and join the A&R team at the time of the transaction. Moreover, this transaction deal represents the 5th add-on acquisition for A&R under Wind Point’s direction just after its 2020 acquisition of L.T Harnett and First Choice Logistics.
Official sources claim that A&R’s acquisition tactic will continue to lay emphasis on taking over the firms that offer liquid and dry transportation, logistics, and warehousing services to distributors and producers of plastics and chemicals.
Speaking of the recent acquisition, President of A&R, Chris Ball stated that the company is thrilled to welcome onboard the team of Luckey. He mentioned that the addition of the latter organization would expand A&R’s depth in each of its core services while also enhancing its ability to offer end-to-end solutions to customers.
On the other hand, Scott Luckey, President of Luckey reportedly announced that the enterprise is delighted to be a part of the A&R group and now looks forward to future endeavors and growth of the merged platform.
Meanwhile, Wind Point’s Managing Director, Konrad Salaber, has declared that the acquisition of Luckey by A&R would further augment the latter’s position and enable the team to continue addressing the needs of its customers across the global supply chain.
Konrad added that the firm is looking forward to continuing to build upon the merged network of both the companies and moving ahead with the Luckey legacy.
